Premiums must be paid at least monthly and are due by the 1st of every month. You will receive a monthly bill around the 15th of the month prior to the due date.
Premiums can be paid by check or money order.
Please make your check or money order payable to Piedmont Community HealthCare, not CMS or HHS. Please write your Member ID number on the check. We do accept payment in person or you can mail your check to the following address. If the check is returned due to insufficient funds, there will be a $35 charge. Once a check has bounced, any future payments must be paid with cash, money order, Social Security or Railroad Retirement benefits.

For questions concerning payment, please call Customer Service at 434-947-3671 or toll-free 1-877-210-1719, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., seven days a week from October 1 through February 14. From February 15 through September 30, Customer Service is available 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. TTY users should call 7-1-1. Walk-ins are welcome 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Piedmont Medicare Advantage is a PPO plan with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in Piedmont Medicare Advantage depends on contract renewal. Out-of-network/non-contracted providers are under no obligation to treat Piedmont Medicare Advantage members, except in emergency situations. For a decision about whether we will cover an out-of-network service, we encourage you or your provider to ask us for a pre-service organization determination before you receive the service. Please call our customer service number or see your Evidence of Coverage for more information, including the cost-sharing that applies to out-of-network services.
