(PCHC) offers a fully-insured product for large and small organizations.

Both PCHP and PCHC offer Point of Service (POS) and Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) Both provide case management and risk sharing by physicians and hospitals to ensure that quality medical care is provided in a cost-effective manner. Piedmont Community Health Plan offers: An accessible local organization, based in Lynchburg. A comprehensive medical network that includes more than 98 percent of local physicians, plus Lynchburg General, Virginia Baptist Hospitals, Bedford Hospital, Halifax Regional and Southside Community Hospital in Farmville. Agreements are also in place with Medical College of Virginia (MCV), University of Virginia Hospital (UVA), the University of North Carolina Hospital (UNC), and the Virginia Health Network for care that cannot be accomodated by local hospitals.
