It is important that all employees know when, where, and how to report issues of non-compliance or FWA, including ways to report anonymously.  Delegated Entity’s internal processes must involve a system to promptly respond to compliance/FWA concerns as they are raised.  They must also include thorough investigations, root cause analysis, actions for correction and prevention of reoccurrence and reporting to Piedmont and authorities, as applicable. All concerns that affect Piedmont’s federally regulated products must be reported to Piedmont, but may go through your process initially.  If you identify compliance issues and/or potential fraud, waste or abuse, please report immediately to us so that we can investigate and respond appropriately.

No one will be subject to retaliation for the good faith reporting of potential compliance issues or FWA occurrences.  Any employee who engages in retaliation shall be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
