Premiums must be paid at least monthly and are due by the 1st of every month. You will receive a monthly bill around the 15th of the month prior to the due date.
Premiums can be paid by check or money order.
Please make your check or money order payable to Piedmont Community HealthCare, not CMS or HHS. Please write your Member ID number on the check. We do accept payment in person or you can mail your check to the following address. If the check is returned due to insufficient funds, there will be a $35 charge. Once a check has bounced, any future payments must be paid with cash, money order, Social Security or Railroad Retirement benefits.

You can have the plan premium deducted from your monthly Social Security check. Contact Customer Service for more information on how to pay your plan premium this way. We will be happy to help you set this up.
You can pay using a credit card
Premiums can be paid using a credit card in-person at our office location, by call Customer Service, or by logging on through the online portal (CLICK HERE.). If you choose to pay online, you will need to set up an online account. Once you set up your account, you can have your payment automatically withdrawn monthly from your checking or savings account or charged directly to your credit or debit card.
Third party payments:
Piedmont is not affiliated with DoXo.com or other third party payment sites. Any fees associated with using these sites to pay your plan premium is charged by the third party payment site and is the responsibility of the member. Please be aware that there is a delay in Piedmont's receipt of payment when using these third party payment sites. Piedmont does not charge any fees with any of our methods of payment.
For questions concerning payment, please call Customer Service at 434-947-3671 or toll-free 1-877-210-1719, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., seven days a week from October 1 through March 31. From April 1 through September 30, Customer Service is available 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. TTY users should call 711. Walk-ins are welcome 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Piedmont Medicare Advantage is a PPO plan with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in Piedmont Medicare Advantage depends on contract renewal. Out-of-network/non-contracted providers are under no obligation to treat Piedmont Medicare Advantage members, except in emergency situations. Please call our customer service number or see your Evidence of Coverage for more information, including the cost-sharing that applies to out-of-network services.
