For more than 20 years, we have been immensely grateful for the strong support behind the Log A Load for Kids Golf Tournament. We truly value the role you play in supporting local children and their families. Your support has made a lasting and positive impact on our community.
We want to let you know the tournament will not be held this year due to volunteer transitions. Event chair Kevin Dawson is stepping down after 7 years of service. We wish Kevin well and are deeply appreciative of the impact Kevin, his team and you have had on our community’s tiniest members.
Your past support of Log A Load has helped ensure specialized newborn and pediatric equipment such as fetal monitors, radiant Panda warmers and Omni beds for the Intensive Care Nursery are available. This equipment allows children in our community to stay close to home, family and loved ones while they receive care.
Your past gifts to Log A Load have also helped fund a pediatric specialty center and childbirth education center at Centra Virginia Baptist Hospital, a pediatric pod and pediatric center at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital, NEO ONE transport unit, pediatric equipment for Centra ONE helicopter and more! Thank you for ensuring local children have the care they need and deserve close to home.
