About Safe Sitter
Safe Sitter is a nationally certified class that teaches young people to be great babysitters. Safe Sitter teaches nurturing childcare techniques, behavior management skills and appropriate responses to medical emergencies. The class, designed for boys and girls aged 11-14, teaches:
- Home Safety
- Injury Prevention
- Seeking Emergency Help
- Problem Behavior Prevention
- Babysitter Business Tips
- CPR Basics (no certification)
Registration
Class is limited to 13 students and registration is required.
Checks payable to Centra Bedford Memorial Hospital. Cost is $40.
