Tuition and Fees by Academic Year
Tuition and Fees rates at Centra College are based on full-time students and charged by the Term. Student tuition charge is per credit hour based on the approved annual rate. Fees are based on student level and the program. There are standard fees charged each term, and other fees charged only in a specific term.
The Cost of Attendance (COA) is a total estimated cost of educational expenses for a student to attend one year and used for the purpose of determining federal financial aid eligibility based on direct and indirect cost.

Discounts
Military discount
At Centra College we acknowledge the sacrifices made by the men and women who serve or have served our county in the military. We are honored to be able to offer a 15% tuition discount to eligible students from all branches of the military. Please contact studentaccounts@centracollege.edu with the required documentation below, as applicable. Discounts apply to tuition only and do not apply to fees.
Active duty and military reservists/National Guard:
- A copy of the service member's Proof of Service Statement or Letter that includes current service status
- A copy of the service member's most recent enlistment or commissioning contract
- A copy of the service member's most recent Leave and Earnings Statement; or
- A copy of the service member's most recent Tuition Assistance form, if the form contains the ETS date
Veterans:
- Provide copy of DD-214 with honorable discharge
Spouses of active duty and military reservists/National Guard:
- A copy of the spouse's DEERS Form 1172-2; or
- A copy of the spouse's marriage license and one of the documents set forth above for service members.
Dependent children:
- Provide a copy of the individual's DEERS Form 1172-2.
