Centra proudly announces that Centra Hospice Farmville has been named a 2025 Honors Elite recipient from the Hospice CAHPS Honors annual program. This program recognizes high-performing hospice agencies that consistently provide quality care, measured by patient and caregiver experiences, based on satisfaction scores from the Hospice Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®). It exclusively honors hospice agencies that partner with MatrixCare to administer their hospice surveys.
Centra Hospice Farmville is one of only two hospice facilities in Virginia to earn Hospice Honors Elite status. Hospice CAHPS Honors is awarded to hospices that score above the MatrixCare National Score on at least 20 of the evaluated questions. MatrixCare grants the special recognition, Hospice Honors Elite, to hospices that score above the MatrixCare National Performance Score on all twenty-four of the evaluated questions.
The Hospice CAHPS Honors program is a meaningful acknowledgment of the dedication and hard work that hospice agencies dedicate to delivering exceptional patient care. By recognizing agencies that excel in patient satisfaction and quality of care, this program not only celebrates remarkable achievement but also sets a standard of excellence within the industry.
