Thank you for choosing Piedmont Community HealthCare for your healthcare coverage needs. The information below may be helpful to you when making a payment as a member of Piedmont Community HealthCare.

Making your initial premium payment

Your policy and benefits will not take effect on your effective date of coverage until Piedmont receives your initial premium payment.  

You can make your initial premium payment using one of the following methods:

  • Make your payment online. CLICK HERE Use Portal 3
  • Our automated payment system is available 24/7 by calling our office at (434) 947-4463 or 1-800-400-7247.
    • Payment may be made using a credit card, debit card, or through a checking or savings account.
    • You will need your member number. This can be found on your invoice or if you are new to the plan, your welcome letter.
    • The automated payment system is secure and meets the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.

  • Third party payments:
    Piedmont is not affiliated with DoXo.com or other third party payment sites. Any fees associated with using these sites to pay your plan premium is charged by the third party payment site and is the responsibility of the member. Please be aware that there is a delay in Piedmont's receipt of payment when using these third party payment sites. Piedmont does not charge any fees with any of our methods of payment.
  • Visit our office at 2316 Atherholt Road, Lynchburg, VA to make a payment by check, cash, money order or credit/debit card. Office Closed Due to COVID

  • Mail a check for HMO plans to;

Note:  A $35.00 returned check fee will be assessed for insufficient funds. This could also affect your coverage if subsequent payment is not made on time.  

Your member Identification (ID) Card(s) will be mailed out separately once we receive your initial premium payment. Please be on the lookout for this mailing.

Paying your monthly premium

You can pay your monthly premium using one of the following methods:

  • Our automated payment system is available 24/7 by calling our office at (434) 947-4463 or 1-800-400-7247 or through our website pchp.net or CLICK HERE.  Payment can be made using a credit card, debit card, or through a checking or savings account.
    • You will need your member number from your ID card or invoice.
    • The automated payment system is secure and meets the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.

Third party payments:
Piedmont is not affiliated with www.DoXo.com or other third party payment sites. Any fees associated with using these sites to pay your plan premium is charged by the third party payment site and is the responsibility of the member. Payments made after the due date are subject to applicable grace periods and do not guarantee coverage.
