Our approach to care

Hospice is a change of focus to comfort, control of symptoms and quality of life. We offer specialized care for people facing a terminal illness. Anyone can make the first call; it does not have to come from a physician. Our team is available to answer questions and offer guidance on whether hospice is appropriate.

Patient Testimonial
"The comprehensiveness of the Hospice program extends from initial visits to available resources, including hospice nurses, nursing aids, religious counselors, social workers, physicians and even a bereavement counselor for the surviving spouse, if desired. The program is excellent in quality and personal care."

"It is a pleasure to serve as a hospice volunteer because of the joy that is brought to veterans through recognition provided by the We Honor Veterans program. It is so important to let local veterans know that they are not forgotten."
